I find that wildly inappropriate and unprofessional, on a number of
levels.

Does this pharmacy tech know anything at all about this woman and her
baby? If not, it's not their business to make judgemental, critical
remarks. If so, then they're mouthing off to a _different client_ about
private information obtained in a healthcare setting. AND it's not their
business to make judgemental, critical remarks about clients ever, it's
their business to provide information and support services, to the
extent of their scope of practice.

If someone had said that to me in a pharmacy, I don't know if I'd ever
have managed to pick my jaw back up. And I would have strongly
considered a report to the person's superior.

Addressing snarky, rude personal remarks to bystanders in a healthcare
setting (or any other setting) is not the way to promote and support
breastfeeding.
