The above is a photo essay of the most dangerous countries in the world for
women. A number of the pictures are graphic in their portrayal of violence,
so one must click on a button to display the photo. Number #18, when
clicked, shows a photo of a mother tandem nursing, with her shirt open. I
am dismayed that while we can look at pictures and think about what a
dangerous place the world can be for women, we help compound the problem by
labeling an essential womanly behavior as "graphic or objectionable." I was
pleased to see that many of the comments at the end of the article mention
this as well.
