The point in the guidelines prohibiting advertising on Lactnet has not been
changed. Many subscribers offer services or products as part of their
livelihoods. This is meant to be a commercial-free zone so all are on equal
footing. Short texts in signature lines about one's
accomplishments/affiliations are fine. Anything else should be checked with
the listmothers, who are happy to consider such requests and who reserve
the right to make exceptions at their discretion on a case by case basis.
