A listmother indulgence, please!!
Are there any active duty Navy nurses out there who would be willing to
correspond by email with a Lactnet kid who is considering joining the Navy
as a nurse? My 19 year old daughter, Abby, is in a BSN program in Maryland
(will be a junior in the fall) and is seriously talking about this as a
future plan (thank goodness...I love the idea). She knows about Navy life
(my husband retired after 21 years) but really needs to hear some practical
career information. She wants to be a trauma nurse and has been an EMT for
two years.
If you are (or know) a Navy RN or BSN who would be willing to email with
her, or better yet, one she can visit, would you please contact me off list
at [log in to unmask] We are near-ish to Walter Reed/Bethesda living
by NAS Pax River.
Thanks!
Kathy
