Thank you Nancy for that much needed info and for verifying what I suspected.  I have not been impressed by these pumps and feel the original are just as good if not better (simpler as well)
When a new product comes out, a significant investment was made and someone has to pay for it -mediocre or not. The consumer is conditioned to believe that the more expensive a product is -the better it is.  When this is often not the case,  just inventory to move -return required on investment.  Let the "spin" begin!
