I work with high school girls in my job as a peer counselor. I was curious if the Affordable Health Care act applies to students or if anyone has had success with promoting breastfeeding in a high school environment. One of our local schools(in theory) allows a breastfeeding mom to pump during her lunch break but at no other time. Students aren't employees, but then again they can't choose to not go to school if they are under 18.

I looked in the archives, but the reponses were a couple of years old and I thought that something might have changed recently.

I am doing some proactive research before we come across a problem in some moms due at the beginning of the 2012.

Thank you!
Lisa Paul
