Thank-you, everyone so much for the replies.  The mom I am helping was very touched that so many people are thinking of her and sending their ideas.  She is really liking the idea of breast for "dessert" and appreciates the idea of not washing pump parts every time she pumps.  She is hoping that her supply keeps up until baby grows enough to transfer milk on his own.

She is going to try the nipple shield.  I am very curious to know if it will help.
