Just for fun, I'll tell you how I know frozen milk works for pink eye:  I used to have a sheltie.  In early lactation, when I'd leave a little trail of white droplets on my wood floor whenever I got up at night, the dog developed a taste for human milk and would follow me around to "clean up" after me.  

The second to last time we had pinkeye in the house, I was no longer lactating and had to ask a friend to help out.  She put a few squirts into a ziplock bag, and I brought it home and set it on top of the dresser in the bedroom.  Darned if that dog didn't smell it through the sealed bag, and probably five *years* after his last taste of milk, remembered it and wanted it bad enough that he actually jumped up onto the dresser, grabbed the bag, and took off with it.

Human milk is now stored only in my freezer.  And it still works just fine :D
