I have a question about photography companies that go room to room in the hospital and do personalized photo shoots with baby and parents.  It sounds like a nice thing, but I am concerned with the amount of handling they do with baby and  how this may interfere with breastfeeding. They will spend up to an hour in the patients room. They do photo shoots routinely with babies in their first 24 hours of life--one baby was only 5 hours old! So far it has interfered with skin-to-skin time and I feel it is also keeping mothers from getting much needed rest.  The photographers are not trained medical professionals and I feel they should not be handling the babies as much and I am not sure if they have a clue how to read babies feeding cues or stress cues telling them when to end or postpone a photo session.  Does anyone else have a situation like this in their hospital?  Thanks!
