I have found some information about the pepto or bright pink milk and S. Marcescens and even watched the "Mystery Diagnosis" clip on Discovery. I'm wondering if anyone has worked with a patient or in a facility where a nursing mother cultured positive for S. Marcescens and knows what you do with the milk that they express, or what to do about continuation of breastfeeding. I would like information about both scenarios of baby testing positive or negative when there's a positive milk culture.
Thank you in advance,
