I am hijacking this just a smidgen.

This child is nearly three years old, and the mother does not wish the
father to visit for longer than four hours. I have no idea what this looks
like to Scottish authorities, but it is my Very Strong Impression that were
this to be presented to a court in the midwest USA, it would look very bad
for the mother. I believe a judge here would rule that the mother was just
using breastfeeding as a weapon against the father, since not only is it
seen as unusual for a nearly-3yo to be nursing, it would seem very silly
that a child of this age would need to nurse every four hours instead of
just having a solid food snack.

Are my perceptions correct? Is it seen significantly differently in the UK?
