This aspect might also be considered evidence of some nerve entrapment by the sutures, and some cranio-sacral therapy on the baby may be helpful in addition to the frenectomy already done. Double-check the frenectomy with oral exam with your finger now. I have had at least one frenectomy needing to be extended on a second trip to the practitioner. I strongly suspect that might have helped in the case I described, but mom's spirits were already too far gone to push the practitioner for re-evaluation.
