Hi All,
I have been working with a mom now for about 2 months now, working through latching/milk suppply. She has inverted nipples that she did well with for her first child. This second baby has given her some challenges from the beginning. NICU for a few days, pain and damaged nipples. Her left nipple never stays out after feeding unles she holds it out to express milk/ointment on and air dry. There is one small spot that isn't healing well and causing continued pain. She is using APNO, wearing shells, changing positions. Any suggestions to help with healing? I haven't had a lot of experience with truly inverted nipples. Thank you for your comments and suggestions.
