Hi Naomi,

ILCA offers an excellent free study module given by and in tribute for Chris Mulford called "Breastfeeding As 'Extreme' Carework: Breastfeeding On The Carework Spectrum." It was presented at the 2011 ILCA Annual Conference before she suddenly passed away in August.

It addresses the "work" of breastfeeding, the value of that work and of the milk itself as it relates to policy development. 

The course description says that Chris devoted her efforts to advocacy and policy surrounding women’s work and breastfeeding.
