Cathy's analogy is great!  I use one the partners really like.  :)

Moms milk supply is a 20,000lb trailer that needs to be pulled uphill to
Reno (a 3 hour drive uphill and over the mountain from Sacramento).  Are you
going to use a VW Bug (PIS) or a Semi (hosp. grade)??  

They get it instantly.  :)
