Dear Lactnetters,
Our hospital is using sage bath products, shampoo, barrier cream and cleansing cloths. These are prewarmed in a warmer. My concern is reducing a milk supply that is just beginning. I know that if you sage as a compress to engorged breast it will reduce the supply. Does this have the same effect if used topically?
I also have good news we are getting rid of the formula bags. So far I have a church group that is interested in making diaper bags for us that we can give our education packets in and throw in whatever good things we can offer.
