Hi Kris
The International Code has little to say about choosing an infant formula product.  In a nutshell, it says choose one that conforms to the Codex Alimentarius.  Most national standards for infant formula are based on the Codex.  In Australia, women are advised to choose a formula based on price alone (given that there is no evidence that any of the 'premium' or 'gold' ingredient has been demonstrated to reduce the risks associated with exposure to infant formula in term infants
