Dear Lactnet Friends:
The last paragraph of my post today, about the article in International
Breastfeeding Journal by Akre, Minchin and others about informal milk
sharing was not accurate.
It SHOULD read "There is no way to prevent all risk. That is life. I can't
understand why
the mainstream default option, that makes so many babies sick and kills
some, is being so vigorously supported by various organizations. Is informal
milk sharing attacked
because women are taking control?"
