We call our profession multi-disciplinary but are there any poets working as childbirth educators, breastfeeding counsellors, doulas, midwives etc?
I was recently contacted by a midwife  living in Russia who is bringing a group of Russian midwives to Jerusalem in the spring - she asked me to give a workshop during their programme.
She noted from my website that I write poetry and am active in an Israeli English poetry society and asked me if I knew other maternity health professionals who write poetry on this subject.
So if there are any poets out there who are working with parents and babies, do contact Nadia Pavlovskaya - her English is excellent.
