Any recommendations for medications that treat allergy and/or sinus
problems and do not suppress milk supply?
~~~ If mom needs meds, she shouldn't suffer, but if other strategies might
work, she can try:
1. local honey
2. garlic tea: honey ( esp. as local as possible), clove of garlic, minced,
and fresh lemon juice, in hot water...
3. Neti pot use
These may help with prevention, dealing with the issues as they arise, or
in conjunction with meds. Serious sinus issues can require antibiotics, many
of which are compatible with breastfeeding and have no affect on supply. I
suppose it's those sinus issues where mom is looking for something
medical but over the counter which are the trickiest?
