Probably because rice milk is low protein, low calcium. I wonder about a goat's milk based formula.

You can try Alimentum ready-to-feed, as it has not corn syrup.
I have even had some babies who do fine on the first-line Similac Advance and Enfamil Lipil as they now contain sucrose or latose...no corn.

the alimentum ready-to-feed is based on cow's milk still, (tho broken down)...the similac advance is also cow's milk based, as is the enfamil lipil. i thought the original poster was looking for alternatives to cow's milk, corn and soy-based products - i am not aware of any currently on the market not based on one (or more) of these allergens. i have often wondered why someone has not come up with a rice milk based formula with all of these multiple food allergy babies lately!
