Mother of a 5 month old, exclusively pumping. Baby was 5.5 weeks
early. Mom has hundreds of ounces of frozen milk, she has been trying
for the past month to get baby accustomed to drinking thawed milk. He
doesn't like the taste, drinks less at the feeding and is very fussy
the rest of the day. She wonders if it is giving him a stomachache.
She has tried giving one thawed bottle a day and also mixing it with
fresh milk but he hates it and gets upset.
We discussed how milk changes when frozen but she is no longer storing
breastmilk. Any tricks on getting baby to drink the thawed milk?
