Thanks for all the suggestions, wise ones. Mom finally tried laid back nursing
and has been nursing w/o pain in that position only. She is now convinced tongue
needs a closer look and had an appt. today with an ENT. However, baby was
hospitalized on Sunday with dx RSV. He is refusing to nurse laid back bc of
breathing issues according to MGM so mom is back to nursing in pain. I suggested
she contact the ENT to see if he'll visit her in hospital. Just wanted to update
you and thank you for your words. The mom appreciates it, as well. Hopefully,
baby will recover quickly from his current illness.
