Hi, everyone and thanks for suggestions about lactose overdose.
Unfortunately, despite NUMEROUS attempts, I haven't been able to
reach the mom by phone, they may be on vacation. Never fear,
bulldog is my middle name.
Today, I saw a woman with oddly-shaped areolas, the right "odder"
than the left (lordy, why do I keep getting sucked into these
puns?) They were elliptical. Is this important? Should I be
concerned about anything? She consulted me for "sore nipples",
but after hearing her story about pain, mastitis, continued
shooting pain AFTER a nursing session after 7 days of
antibiotics, looked at mom's nipples, and tried not to cringe at
the prominent rash on this gorgeous baby's face......I sent them
to their doctor with a note that he "consider thrush in both".
These elliptical areolas interested me, tho. Anyone? Thanks. Judy
