My original post following on the discussion about Medela and research, was
meant to say:
With all the research coming out of groups like UWA (funded by Medela), the
significant increase in the availability of breastfeeding education, the
rise in the number of IBCLCs (and other bf professionals), and government
funded helplines etc..
has there been a positive difference to bf women and bf outcomes ?
on the positive side, today I've been privileged to visit the Developing
Families Centre in Washington with my dear friend Ruth Lubic, and seen
breastfeeding peer counsellors at work.
