Hello Wise Ones,

Mom with chronic milk supply issues, had a freezer full of donated milk
which she had to give away since baby couldn't'tolerate the dairy in the
donations ( nor her, either, of course),baby with multiple issues, released
tongue tie, severe eczema, reflux, is seeing local breastfeeding medicine
specialist, pediatrician, and allergist, and has now been talking to a
'traditional foods' person, who suggested a liver-based homemade formula. I am not
knowledgeable enough to know whether this is a good option ( especially
since the ingredients and the digestive enzymes and probiotics this person is
recommending/selling are expensive and this mom constantly borders on being
completely overwhelmed. This her second child, severe, deathly allergy
issues with 3 year old as well as the new 3 month old to monitor.She cannot
even really maintain her diet to do an elimination trial over more than a few
weeks or  so...)
Wonder if anyone has thoughts on this:
Recommendation:

(http://www.realmilk.com/formularecipes.html#lbf)
This is made from
    * 3-3/4 cups homemade beef or chicken broth,

    *   5 tablespoons lactose1
    *   1/4 teaspoon bifidobacterium infantis2
    * 1/4 cup homemade liquid whey (See recipe for whey, below)
    *   1 tablespoon coconut oil1
    *   1/2 teaspoon unflavored high-vitamin or high-vitamin fermented cod
liver oil or 1 teaspoon regular cod liver oil3
    *   1 teaspoon unrefined sunflower oil1
    *   2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil1
    *   1/4 teaspoon acerola powder1,2
    * (SORRY I can't get rid of the bullets, this is now me typing again:
I know this is a lot of information, but if anyone has experience with
homemade formulas of any kind, any kind of experience, it would be helpful.
    *   Thanks,
    *   Peace,
    *   Judy
