I have always used the more conservative approach: I use the slides I have purchased in my PowerPoint presentation - but the handout does NOT contain the pictures, especially if they will be posted on-line. I do provide information on where they can be purchased.
By the way, the California Birth and Beyond PowerPoint presentations follow that "rule" - and includes a photo bibliography to help presenters find pictures to be added (http://cdph.ca.gov/BBCproject
