Hi Sarah, I had the somewhat a similar experience to your client with my daughter (I also had a C-section and nurses practically "shoved" my baby to my breasts) Until today, I am unable to figure out what had caused her to have stuffy nose during the first few weeks/months, but I had an ENT Specialist attend to my infant and he had recommend a saline spray (Sterimar) to be used together with a nose cleaner (the one that has a bulb like rubber end to it)

It did helped very much and I was able to have her latch on better. The Specialist also advised about not having the air conditioned turned on as it will cause it to aggravate further. Things improved itself by the time my baby was 4months.

These past 2 years, I have came across a number of similar cases like mine and each time, I would tell the mom to get her baby seen by an ENT Specialist just to rule out any possibilities while we try to work with breastfeeding.

And oh, the Australian hold/laid back nursing at 45 Degree angle does helps a lot!

Hope this helps :)
