Hello
I have looked into the archives, to see if there is any information about when to introduce a alternative feeding method.
On the postnatal where I work as an LC there seems to be a trend to use a "Lactaid" for just about every conceivable challenge from day one up to day 5 , and I am concerned that we are not actually dealing with the challenges appropriately more going for the quick fix approach
Does anyone have evidence based research that supports when to introduce a alternative feeding method. ie syringe, cup, lactaid and on what day
Many thanks for reading my post
Kind Regards
