Hello All, The US radio station NPR has been doing radio segments and a blog entitled the "Baby Project". Essentially, a group of several moms all due in July are blogging about their experiences. There have recently been several posts about breastfeeding/pumping and numerous comments by mothers about how lactation consultants failed them, and how in the end they decided to use formula and enjoy bonding with their babies etc. In case anyone else is interested in reading the blogs and commenting on them (you have to create a free NPR account first), here is the link: http://www.npr.org/blogs/babyproject/ Some of the breastfeeding ones: http://www.npr.org/blogs/babyproject/2011/07/26/138717332/stumped-at-the-pump-when-breast-feeding-doesnt-go-as-planned#more http://www.npr.org/blogs/babyproject/2011/07/25/138611524/the-breast-feeding-ballet-nurse-supplement-pump-repeat?ps=rs -- Sharon Craig Economides, LM, CPM, MMid, IBCLC *********************************************** Archives: http://community.lsoft.com/archives/LACTNET.html To reach list owners: [log in to unmask] Mail all list management commands to: [log in to unmask] COMMANDS: 1.
