I guess that part of the issue is understanding how humans evolved and what
were their eating patterns during that time. We know that is has been the
norm that babies were breastfed, oftentimes for many years. What we need
more info about is the weaning process-  when did it actually begin and how?
Did mothers chew up food and give it to their babies at a fairly young age,
a few months old,  or did it happen much later?
