I have to admit that I really did not like the picture in the dropper feeding url [http://www.mother-2-mother.com/refusingbottle.htm]. The baby was in a car seat, leaning back. The picture did not follow the instructions which suggesting supporting the baby sitting up in your lap. Nor did the photo display the interaction between the feeder and the baby as suggested in the text. Parents are going to focus on the picture more than the words. Furthermore, I do NOT think it is normal for a baby to "spit out" some of the milk. This to me is an indication that the feeder is not responding to the baby's cues as well as possible. I teach parents that "spitting out" milk is a sign that they are going too fast or missed the cues a bit.
