25% referral fee? Isn't that rather - well - inappropriate? I have never
heard of such a thing. I have other business owners come to my Parent Group
on occasion to share their services with my parents. Should I require them
to give me a kickback from all those who go to their classes? No - I don't
think I should. And if others required me to give them referral fees of 25%
I would seriously lose money...
Quite frankly, if you have a great referral system (and even better if it
works both ways) and it doesn't cost you (or them) anything - I'd stick with
that and tell the others, thanks but no thanks.
Wow. 25%?? Highway robbery...unless I am really out of touch with this
type of thing...but wow!

Subject: Referral fees
Anyone give businesses referral fees for lactation clients given? And what
percentages are given. I have a local business that works with prenatal and
post natal women desiring 25 percent in referral fees. I have a great
referral system in place that doesn't cost me anything but a thank you card
and an occasional gift card. Any thoughts?
