Not a commercial :-)  Catherine Genna Watson's newish book "Selecting and 
Using Breastfeeding Tools: Improving Care and Outcomes," 2009, Hale Pub, TX, 
pg 25-26 explains how the honey is processed. , including info specifically 
on bacterial spore survival.  FDA approved as a wound dressing.  Ref 
provided.
