Lactnet's own Cathy Watson Genna discusses use of Medihoney in her book
"Selecting and Using BF Tools" at p. 26-27. Irradiation kills spores (so no
botulism worries). It is FDA approved as a wound dressing and may be used
on infected and non-healing wounds (unlike hydrogel pads). Because honey is
water soluble, mom can gently rinse it off before a feed.
