I am hoping to get some information from the wise ones on this list.
I am working with a mother who has low milk supply. She has been prescribed Domperidone and would like to add some herbs. She has hypoglycemia, so I would not encourage her to take Fenugreek. Are there concerns with other lactogenic herbs and maternal blood sugar? I have heard that Goat's Rue also may lower blood sugar.
And yes, I realize that making sure the baby is drinking well from the breast, latch and milk removal are important issues. We are working on that side too.
Thanks in advance,
Kimberley
