Dear Marie and all,
Diana West's website, _www.bfar.org_ (http://www.bfar.org) , has great
information.
One of the mothers I have worked with (I have permission to post) has been
able to exclusively nurse both of her children after reduction surgery. She
worked very hard to bring in a full milk supply the first time, nursing
this child for about 18 months, and with the second child, it was much
easier. So it is possible. I try to see mothers with this special lactation need
for a prenatal consult to give them the information, support and resources
to assist them in their desire to nurse.
