Hi Wendy
There is significant controversy around whether such a disorder actually exists. If it does it is *extremely* rare. Most of us have only ever heard the term because the media has sensationalised a handful of very sad abuse/neglect cases (globally). Only after ruling out every other more likely scenario ... PND, cluelessness, strict routines, history of maternal childhood abuse, metabolic disorder, inadequate feeding, etc ... would it even be worth considering chasing this zebra.
