I'm back in the country, but in California just finishing up a
conference today. If there is a tight labial frenulum, treating that can
certainly help. But do also look under the tongue, our own Diane
Wiessinger published years ago that they can go together, and that has
indeed been my experience. Deep latch allows the best breast drainage
(K. Mizuno) and either or both restrictions (tongue or lip) can prevent
optimal latch.
