Hi Ashley,
I'm with you, the only thing that makes sense is positioning or contractions, or even CCK release???
If mother is scheduled for surgery in one month, but has noticed increased pain and that the hernia cannot
be reduced, then she should be advised to re-visit her healthcare provider.
Those would be significant and potentially dangerous symptoms.
