I'm looking for a nice, concise quote, preferably in a researched or
medical source, that describes the inter-biology of the dyad.
It's to support a dyad that are being pressured to wean, as the mother
has severe depression (not post-partum), and the NHS staff dealing with
her in the mental health team, are stating she needs to wean her 18
month old to 'help'. So whilst I'm advocating on behalf of the child's
needs, I need to open with something that establishes the functioning of
the dyad, as being mutually beneficial.
Anyone?
I have limited resources on accessing journals etc, so I need the quote
and the cite, if possible. :-)
Many thanks
Morgan
