Hi Kathleen,
I don't have any research to cite, but anecdotally I know mothers who have
solved reflux in their nursing infants by cutting out food(s) in the
maternal diet that were irritating the nursling. My own dd2 was a
spitter-upper on her first few days of life and I stopped all dairy and
voila! no more spitting. Not a reflux dx, but still...
Hopefully Jennifer Tow will chime in as I'm sure she'll have some ideas.
