I think it is important to consider that oversupply may possibly be a
symptom here rather than a diagnosis in itself. It could be that an unhappy
baby (for whatever reason) learns that the nicest place to be is at breast,
and happens to drive mom into oversupply while just doing his best to feel
better.
I mention this potential zebra because my first allergic baby was initially
diagnosed as oversupply, because he did gain a pound a week from nursing
constantly (and I don't mean the "constantly" that we sometimes hear about.
I mean literally All the Time, including while I was in the bathroom). The
oversupply was just a distraction from the real problem.
