My training is in both anthropology/sociology and counseling, so I found
the "discussion" fascinating on a number of levels. It really was amazing
to see how a paper designed to help that particular audience was taken as a
direct insult. And one writer believes that the connection between mixed
feeding and mother to child HIV transmission *must* be fiction, even though
it is solidly demonstrated, because it contradicts what she needs to
believe: that formula cannot harm a child.
Karleen, I do applaud you for sticking it out. By the end (as of last
night) it did sound like they were starting to hear you.
