I understand very well one pump every NICU bed, but I am surprised by
the idea of having one every two beds in the postpartum unit.
Why so many?
Should we not suppose that moms can usually bf without a pump?
Does in your experience one mother out of two have such problems that
they need to pump?

I am asking because I have no hospital experience (I am a LLL Leader, so
I see mothers after discharge or much later) and I find the topic rather
interesting.
I would like to have some more feed back about this point.

Thanks,
Micaela
