Dear Friends:

Most of my job is educating healthcare professionals, including physicians
(including obstetricians!!!) . I love it.

When an audience of maternity ward nurses is asked, "Haven't you seen
newborns that have lost a pound and are fine, bright-eyed, bushy-tailed and
feeding often?", they all say Yes.

Must be water weight these babies are loosing. We've all seen babies that
have lost a pound and are NOT fine, but are limp and sleepy and feeding
poorly.

Look at the baby please. Newborns weren't weighed for 99.99% of human
history and somehow we survived.

warmly,

Nikki Lee RN, BSN, Mother of 2, MS, IBCLC, CCE, CIMI
craniosacral therapy practitioner
