Australians who are supporters of Oxfam might like to contact them to ask
about why their "gift" of antenatal and postnatal support for women is
represented by a dummy. http://www.oxfamunwrapped.com.au/gift-172-mother-
<http://www.oxfamunwrapped.com.au/gift-172-mother-&-baby> &-baby How can
they link something known to harm infant health (via its impact on
breastfeeding) with something that is supposed to improve infant health.

One might also question why this gift makes no mention of education on
immediate and exclusive breastfeeding...Cambodian govt surveys have found
that very few babies are exclusively breastfed and most are given prelacteal
feeds (condensed milk being a favourite!). Given that they mention
traditional birth attendants who probably usually encourage prelacteal feeds
it would be good to know that their program is educating TBAs about the
importance of immediate and exclusive breastfeeding.

SO much for educating their supporters on what is important!
