I just wanted to give everyone an update on my confounding pair.
First, I want to thank everyone for their wonderful words of wisdom, both here and in private responses. You all are truly the best resource on earth. (And I’m not just blowing smoke!) I did have mom institute a little more dedicated block feeding, which seemed to help some, but he was still pretty darn miserable. Based on a couple of recommendations, (thank you!!!) mother started taking plant based digestive enzymes three times a day. Within a couple of days of starting this, the little one has dramatically improved in his fussiness. His stools have dramatically changed from three or four a day to one huge one every 3 or 4 days. But he is much, much, happier. Which means parents are much, much, happier.
