Perhaps if we just stick to some generic bottle/nipple system with slow
flow and use paced bottle feeding?
~~~ Head spins round and round and that's where I end up as well...:) Any
bottle a parent has in the house/ thinks about using has to prove itself to
me as I watch the baby and mom through a feeding. It sure ain't perfect and
it ain't a breast, but we minimize the negative consequences to the extent
we can, be super supportive, keep moving towards normal feeding at breast
and keep in mind the three rules: Feed the baby, Normalize Milk Supply, and
Work on the Feeding Challenges. It's the best we can do in sometimes very
challenging circumstances.
Peace,
Judy, trapped by the snow/sleet/ice so not visiting her son today out of
state...:(
