 I have often observed also when there is lack of ability to  coordinate on 
one end ( due to tongue restrictions) there is sometimes inability  on the 
other end. Even with good intake I see some of these babies with very low  
stool output, like they stool once a day or less even in the early weeks of  
life. If a mom tells me her baby doesn't stool often, I look at intake and  
weight gain and also for tongue movement/coordination issues.
